I am using these motion light bars in the restroom as nightlights and emergency light for power outages. Power outages have become more and more frequent due to the thunderstorms and flash flooding that have become a common occurrence of late. I got these so I would have access to some form of light should I be in the restroom during a power outage. It turns out that was exactly what happened, twice. The first time it was in the daytime, but the second one was at night. It was a good thing I had the motion lights or things could have gotten pretty hairy.

I got these to go in a shower that has no lights in it, it's an older home. I read the instructions that stated not to use them in humid or wet places so I scrapped that idea. I instead used them in the kitchen. The motion sensing is superb and works very well. I placed one under the microwave/vent hood since the one that is in it is horrible. It lights up when i get close to the stove and illuminates the range the entire time I'm cooking. It is bright enough to light the range.

I have several similar rechargeable under cabinet lights from other stores and this one is my favorite. The sleek, slim housing is mostly aluminum and the build quality appears to be very solid. Unlike some similar lights the controls make sense and are easy to operate. The white acrylic diffuser gives a very uniform, soft illumination. Though I didn't time the light to see how long they last, the batteries last long enough that it's not an issue for me
